Henry Silverman

Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, USA, where he practices medicine in the intensive care unit and is Chair of the Clinical Ethics Committee. Professor Silverman obtained his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a Masters degree in Bioethics from Georgetown University. He has been the program director of a research ethics training initiative in the Middle East for more than 10 years and aims to transfer his successful efforts to Myanmar.
